Classic Clocks is a family business, founded 40 years ago out of a love for antique timepieces.We marvel at the craftsmanship and ingenuity of clockmakers of the past.
We offer an array of restoration and repair services on all types of clocks, barometers and music boxes -- everything from small modern mantle clocks to municipal tower clocks of yesteryear. We have the expertise, the experience, and the equipment to provide a wide variety of services including gear cutting, repivoting, and bearing repairs for brass and wooden movements, as well as brass polishing, resilvering, dial painting, wooden case repair and refinishing.
The clocks that we offer for sale range from antique treasures from all over the world, to our own original precision regulators that are the result of years of design experimentation, which keep time with amazing levels of accuracy.
After serving Atlanta for over three decades in the Howell Mill Village Shopping Center in Buckhead, Bernie Tekippe has retired. You can now find his son, Byron Tekippe carrying on in a new direction. Classic Clocks Atlanta now has a booth in the Westside Market located at 1530 Ellsworth Industrial Blvd. Visit us there by appointment for free repair estimates or to browse the clocks for sale in our booth.
